Our primal state, sent into the chaos of the uncharted and unfamiliar,
as masses follow symbols of enlightenment on paths leading to salvation and self-destruction.
As the child in us all wrestles with right and wrong, we build up our armours of
defense, caging ourselves in the process.
Our soul screams out for release,
yet we are too fearful to act in the darkness that is uncertainty.
The unknown becomes fear that enslaves us all.
We seek freedom through social acceptance, and fall into line,
only to fall back into enslavement.
All too often do we only realize the truth when it is all too late.

To seek clarity within darkness.
